1st Smile and Mendocino

So last week Joseph had an upper GI to see what is going on with his spitting up and we found out what is happening is the food is staying in his stomach longer than normal babies and not processing through as quickly as it should causing all of his spit up and vomitting. The doctor wanted to put him on medication and we chose not to due to the fact of the side effects could be permanant causing his face to twitch for the rest of his life. The doctor said it should get better around 6 months of age.

We went to the Mendocino Coast this past weekend for my Grandpa's Memorial Services, they were really beautiful and it was a great time to remember Grandpa. On Sunday we spread his ashes as well as Sherman, my stepdad whom passed away a year ago. It was great to be there with family just wish it was under better circumstances.

Joseph goes to the doctor today for his 2 month check up and shots, oh fun!! This morning I was messing around taking pictures as usual and by accident I caught his first smile on camera, amazing! So below are some pictures of him smiling this morning.

Don't forget to check out the video on the bottom of this post!!!
